There are some changes to the event information + new information.
WEATHER
We have decided to not use dynamic real time weather and instead set the weather to what the forecast shows for the location for October 31st 3:00 PM UTC on Thursday evening. This change was made to ensure equal weather conditions for private runs on Friday and the event on Saturday.
CO-DRIVER RECOMMENDATION
The first stage can be very dark and parts of SS2 can be dark too. Other stages may have blind crests and bad visibility depending on the weather. For these reasons we strongly recommend getting a co-driver. If you're unable to get one, try to memorise at least the first stage as it can be near impossible to navigate it at full speed in the dark without any previous knowledge. Any complaints for the stage being too dark will be dismissed.
LIGHTS ON CARS
A reminder for everyone who is submitting their own cars: please make sure they have working headlights and rear/tail lights to ensure you can see the road ahead in the dark stages and others can see your vehicle from behind. The dark stages will use SOFT lighting style (found under the Lighting tab in Studio) - please make sure the lights look good in that and don't blind you.
RECCE
Recce starts in two days! You're free to do as many recce runs as you wish. Recce will close an hour (2:00 PM UTC on Saturday) before the event. Most stages will be familiar to drivers who have done any URC or RRC Finland rallies before, but SS1 has a new chicane, SS4 has a slight variation to the layout and SS7 is brand new to all drivers. There is no speed limit to recce. Most anti-cut devices have orange markings under them so if any of them have been destroyed during the recce, you should still be able to see where they're supposed to be placed.
STAGE INFO OUT NOW
All stage info can be found HERE. Links to the stages will be added once recce opens.
REMINDER FOR CAR SUBMISSIONS
The deadline for car submissions is on October 30th 10:00 AM UTC. If you're planning to do private runs please submit your car by October 29th at latest. Check out the rules tab on the event page for car regulations.
Please remember the change back to standard time this month can change the timezone conversions. Double check everything on the week of the event!
